Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Field Project Engineer-Data Centers to oversee project execution, provide remote and on-site support, and coordinate with dealers, engineering firms, electricians, and owners.

You will develop technical and commercial solutions for Energy solutions sales, create diagrams for switchgear and control centers, and ensure smooth integration of Generac products with third-party equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience in power generation equipment installation and operations.
• Willingness to travel domestically 25% to 50% of the time.
• Experience with basic project management tasks (SOW, Gantt, RASIC).

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of project scope definition and objectives.
• Prepare overall project schedule based on scope of work and plan.
• Track deliverables against contract to meet commitments and timeframes.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments and progress.
• Manage vendor and supplier contracts and communication of deliverables.
• Provide input to engineering during new product introduction and field feedback.
