Job summary

Doist is seeking a Nurse liaison to coordinate care and communicate medical information among Injured Worker, Insured, and Carrier to facilitate treatment, rehabilitation, and return to work. This remote, field-based position requires regular travel up to 2 hours within your region and collaboration with case management teams.

The role emphasizes efficient communication, adherence to CM plans, and maintaining regulatory licensure and certifications while delivering cost-effective care and timely

Qualifications

• RN with current, unrestricted state license; license valid in each state where field case management is provided.
• Completion of a nursing program and ongoing continuing education as required.
• Certification: CCM, CRC, CLNC, CRRN (or similar) within 4 years of hire.
• Two years of FTE direct case management for injured workers or two years under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Case Management plan and maintain CM process accountability.
• Accept referrals and schedule initial assessments per CM plan; obtain next physician appointment date.
• Build professional relationships with clients; treat claimants with dignity.
• Record data and billing; submit timely monthly reports.
• Attend physician appointments to obtain diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan; assess RTW potential.
• Refer to Vocational Counselor for job analyses when approved by Carrier.
• Coordinate and attend IMEs; promote teamwork with staff.
• Provide translation as needed and coordinate transportation as required.
• Maintain licensure and complete required training on time.
• Retain responsibility for tasks delegated to non-clinical staff.
