Job summary

MSD is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Senior Director Team Lead to lead a field-based medical affairs team across the United States in a remote setting. You will recruit, onboard, and coach RMSDs, drive performance against disease state plans, and ensure ethical compliance in all activities.

Collaborate with USMA and/or GMSA on initiatives, manage budgets, and develop team members while promoting inclusion and scientific education across multiple therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO with ability to lead and coach scientific/medical colleagues.
• 3+ years in a field-based medical role with demonstrated customer engagement.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and pharma industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, on-board, and coach a field-based medical affairs team.
• Plan and manage disease support plans with USMA and/or GMSA alignment.
• Review expenses and act as financial steward of resources.
• Foster belonging, equity, and empowerment within the team.
