Job summary

Sophos is offering a 12-month Field Marketing Internship starting in June 2027, fully remote with regular visits to the Abingdon, UK headquarters. The role provides hands-on experience across campaigns, events, and webinar delivery, plus social media monitoring and analysis.

You will collaborate with global marketing teams, develop transferable skills, and enhance your project management and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Marketing degree and must complete a 12-month industry placement.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities are essential.
• Strong English language, both spoken and written.
• Desirable knowledge of other core languages: French, Spanish, German, Italian.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaigns: create collateral, copywriting, proofreading, emails, and campaign reporting.
• Support virtual and in-person events: registration pages, social media promotion, delegate packs, event reporting, and attendance as needed.
• Support the webinar programme: webinar creation, scheduling, registration tracking, hosting, and post-webinar reporting.
• Use Salesforce, Asana, Zoom and MS Teams to update information and communicate with the marketing team.
• Create copy/content for key marketing communications and use Taxi, Goldcast, and Canva for emails, event pages and social posts.
• Keep wider Sophos teams, including regional sales, up-to-date with planned marketing activities.
