Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a Field Engineer to own customer deployments from preparation through installation and validation of transit technology, including onboard systems. You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and ensure systems are deployed and operational.

The role is highly field-oriented with about 50% travel across locations nationwide. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering and experience with end-to-end deployments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical skills and ability to coordinate customer deployments.
• Strong project coordination and communication with customers and internal teams.
• Experience owning end-to-end deployments of technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of deployments from preparation to install and validation.
• Define work packages and test equipment before installations.
• Conduct onsite surveys and coordinate approvals and installation activities.
• Manage installation teams and subcontractors during field deployments.
• Install and support onboard hardware and ensure proper integration.
• Perform QA and validate installations against requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot components and derive engineering solutions.
• Complete post-installation documentation and reports.
