Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Buncombe County, NC seeks a Field Clinical Practice Performance Consultant to oversee CMARC/CMHRP program performance and drive practice transformation across Buncombe and surrounding areas. You will travel up to 75% locally to support OB providers, LHDs, and community partners while aligning with policy and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with maternity populations (OB provider, OB clinic setting, or local health departments)
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis, interpretation, and presenting to physicians/administrators
• Experience with Medicaid population
• Presentation creation and data-driven communication to diverse audiences
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMARC/CMHRP program performance and develop improvement strategies
• Lead meetings with CMARC/CMHRP to review progress and outcomes
• Support providers with best practices and program requirements access
• Build relationships with OB providers, CMARC/CMHRP programs, and LHD leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive practice transformation
• Partner with DHHS/DPH leadership to ensure policy alignment and oversight
• Provide education on PMP and best practices for population health
• Apply quality improvement concepts to assist LHD and providers
• Identify data trends and actionable solutions to improve outcomes
• Communicate data insights to physicians and community partners
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address practice needs
• Represent the health plan at community events and provider meetings
