US Signal in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Field CISO to serve as a fractional security executive for our customers, offering advisory services across governance, risk, and compliance. This role blends pre-sales and delivery, shaping security roadmaps and leading executive briefings.

You will translate risk into business strategy, drive security programs across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and help customers strengthen their posture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security and compliance, including CISO/vCISO leadership.
• Experience leading assessments, compliance reviews, and audits across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Join discovery calls as the security expert, assess risk posture, shape solutions.
• Lead as fractional security executive, drive roadmaps and board briefings.
• Translate risk into business language for executives and boards.
• Shape advisory delivery and market positioning of SOC/MDR and security services.
• Execute advisory engagements to measurably improve security posture.
