Job summary

US Signal is seeking a Field CISO to serve as a fractional security executive for our customers, aligning risk and compliance with business strategy from our Grand Rapids HQ or a remote setup with frequent travel.

You will drive advisory engagements, develop security roadmaps, and lead executive communications across frameworks while maintaining strong client relationships and renewal momentum.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security programs and audits across multiple frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Ability to translate security risks into business impact for executives and boards.
• Strong leadership and client-facing advisory skills with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Join discovery calls as the security expert to shape the right solution.
• Lead fractional security engagements, build roadmaps, and guide compliance programs.
• Translate technical risk into business language for executives and boards.
• Shape advisory delivery and market positioning of SOC/MDR services.
• Execute advisory engagements to measurably improve clients' security posture.
