Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Field Auto Appraiser for Catastrophic Loss. You will inspect and evaluate vehicles involved in a loss, determine repair costs, and work with repair facilities using estimatics software. Extensive travel may be required, with responsibilities in multiple home territories.

The role emphasizes independent work, time management, and quality standards, with a strong CAT deployment component during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and state licensing as applicable.
• Two years of related experience including at least one year of appraisal experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and ability to use appraisal software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify, and evaluate auto vehicles involved in a loss.
• Appraise and determine repair vs. replace and parts utilization.
• Travel to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepare estimates using estimatics software.
• Coordinate with auto repair facilities for supplemental repair processing and estimates.
