Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Application Scientist for the Mid-Atlantic region to provide technical support and training for Covaris products. This remote position demands a strong understanding of molecular biology workflows and Next Generation Sequencing technologies.

Responsibilities include delivering training sessions, managing customer demonstrations, and collaborating with sales teams. Candidates should possess a Master’s or Ph.D. and have 3–5 years of lab experience. A competitive salary range of $90,000 – $110,000 plus bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years hands-on lab experience in research.
• Foundational understanding of NGS technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales customer training and support.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customer inquiries.
