Job summary

Molex is seeking a Field Application Engineer for Enterprise Server Accounts. This remote role targets candidates in the United States with flexibility to travel up to 30% to customer sites.

You will provide technical support to customer engineering teams, influence design decisions, and drive design-in activity across enterprise server, networking, and storage applications. Strong communication and CAD skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Experience interfacing with customer engineering teams.
• Experience in electronics or interconnect industry.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customer engineering teams to promote and secure design wins.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering stakeholders and SI experts.
• Drive long-term design-in activity from concept to production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and deliver solutions.
• Recommend solutions leveraging Molex's interconnect portfolio for system-level challenges.
• Provide customer insights to internal teams to align products with trends.
• Support quality, qualification, and lifecycle activities including NPI and testing.
• Develop technical credibility as a trusted advisor on high-speed interconnects.
