Job summary

Molex is seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support Enterprise Server Accounts. This remote-friendly role is US-based, with preference for Lisle, IL or NY-based hubs and up to 30% travel to customer sites.

You will partner with customer engineering teams, drive design wins for high-speed interconnects, and coordinate cross-functional Molex teams to resolve complex server, storage, and networking challenges throughout development cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with customer engineering teams
• Experience in electronics/interconnect industry
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customer engineering teams to promote and secure design wins for Molex products in enterprise server, networking, and storage applications
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with engineering stakeholders and SI experts to influence design decisions
• Drive long-term design-in activity and manage complex development cycles from concept through qualification and production
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Molex engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges
• Recommend innovative solutions leveraging Molex’s interconnect portfolio to address system-level challenges
• Provide customer insights and feedback to internal teams to improve products and align with trends
• Support quality, qualification, and product lifecycle activities including new product introduction, testing, and ongoing supply assurance
• Develop technical credibility as a trusted advisor on high-speed interconnects and advanced system architectures
