Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications/telecom engineering.
• Proven ability to read and understand DOT schematics.
• Knowledge of general city, county, and state permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering activities to implement network maintenance and relocation projects.
• Lead large scale projects and coordinate activities with external contractors.
• Prepare detailed cost analysis and project specifications.

Strong leadership and project management skills

Excellent oral, written, and listening skills

Detail oriented and well organized

In-depth knowledge of fiber optic engineering principles

Knowledge of steps in OSP projects

Working knowledge of right-of-way property rights

In-depth knowledge of OSP network design

Education
