Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Estimator to manage the pre-sales pipeline and create project cost estimates for fiber and telecommunication networks. This remote role in the Mid-West requires strong project estimating skills and experience in customer relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of engineering practices and be proficient in related software tools, all while embodying the company's core values of GRIT – Guts, Reliability, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in estimating OSP, engineering, or construction projects.
• Proven history with Rural Utility Service (RUS) contracts.
• Valid Driver's License and certifications in First Aid and CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pre-sales pipeline and create project cost estimates.
• Secure jobs by developing strong customer relationships.
• Read blueprints and generate material takeoffs.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings and monitor job progress.

Bidding Rural Utility Service (RUS) contracts

OSP project estimating experience

Fiber engineering and construction methods

Effective communication skills

HCSS or B2W bidding Software experience
