Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Network Infrastructure Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for structured cabling and fiber optics, supporting multiple company verticals. The role focuses on analyzing drawings, vendor quotes, and specifications to produce competitive estimates.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in network infrastructure estimation, familiarity with BICSI/TIA/EIA and NEC standards, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience estimating network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimation software including Accubid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structured cabling and fiber optics.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure alignment on design and cost assumptions.
• Support proposal development and client presentations with clear, data-driven cost breakdowns.
• Maintain and update historical cost databases and estimation tools.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives.
• Make decisions in a safe, attentive manner to ensure safety of self and others.
