Job summary

Reliance Matrix is seeking an External Wholesaler - FI to grow sales of annuity products by developing and maintaining relationships with licensed financial advisors and branch managers in the financial institutions channel. You will prospect, plan, and execute business strategies to maximize territory revenue while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in business or related field and at least five years of related experience.
• Life Insurance License required; industry designations preferred.
• 4+ years’ wholesaling experience - Financial Institutions and Broker Dealer channel experience a plus.
• 4+ years’ experience with annuities, insurance or other financial products.
• Strong sales and relationship management experience required.
• Analytical skills and excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Demonstrated ability to productively schedule time and organize around priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, maintain, and enhance sales relationships with licensed financial advisors and sales management in the financial institution distribution channel to increase sales of Reliance Standard’s annuity products.
• Represent the company in a highly professional manner.
• Support the strategic activities of the National Accounts Manager.
• Work with the relationship manager to deliver sales goals by identifying and fostering leads.
• Build and cultivate relationships within the Financial Institutions channel to increase awareness of product benefits and features.
• Prepare and deliver clear, convincing sales presentations to audiences of various sizes.
