Job summary

Reliance Matrix is seeking an External Wholesaler - FI in Springfield, IL to develop and manage key relationships with licensed financial advisors and broker-dealers, driving annuity product sales. You will present solutions, train advisors, and coordinate with internal teams to meet territory targets.

The role requires a 4-year business degree and 4+ years of wholesaling experience in FI/BD channels, with a Life Insurance License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with at least five years of related experience.
• Life Insurance License required; industry designations preferred.
• 4+ years’ wholesaling experience in Financial Institutions and Broker Dealer channels.
• 4+ years’ experience with annuities, insurance or other financial products.
• Strong understanding of life insurance, asset management and retirement planning landscapes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, maintain and enhance sales relationships with licensed financial advisors and sales management.
• Develop and execute territory business plans to maximize sales and meet revenue targets.
• Represent Reliance Matrix professionally to advisors and management.
• Collaborate with the National Accounts Manager and relationship managers to meet sales goals.
• Schedule and conduct product and sales trainings, seminars, workshops, webinars, and branch meetings.
• Maintain activity logs and broker profiles to track sales activity and progress.
• Partner with internal teams to align resources for optimal territory results.
