Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Security Engineer (FedRAMP Engineer) to deliver hands-on security engineering in a fast-paced federal environment. You will assess cloud provider architectures against FedRAMP, NIST, RMF and agency requirements, supporting authorization decisions and continuous monitoring.

The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring effective communication with government program leaders, CISOs, vendors and technical teams across audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT security or security engineering/architecture.
• Direct FedRAMP cloud service provider architecture analysis experience.
• 4+ years as Security Engineer or System Architect, incl. FedRAMP.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent credential.
• Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA and related policies.
• Experience reviewing third-party security assessment reports.
• Ability to lead meetings with vendors and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical and architecture reviews of cloud providers.
• Review FedRAMP authorization packages and related docs.
• Lead architecture interviews with providers to assess controls.
• Identify gaps and guide remediation for compliance.
• Develop briefings and reports for FedRAMP leadership and CISOs.
• Support continuous monitoring and annual review activities.
• Engage with government leads to ensure milestones are met.
• Translate FedRAMP/NIST requirements into actionable guidance.
• Evaluate emerging tech for security impact.
• Oversee security reviews for cloud provider boundaries.
