Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a FedRAMP Program Manager for a leading technology organization. The role is ideally based in the Raleigh-Durham area, with consideration for remote candidates located within the Eastern Time Zone.

You will oversee initiatives supporting client security platforms and regulated cloud environments, drive compliance readiness for FedRAMP Moderate, and partner with clients and internal teams to ensure secure deployment and ongoing governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project/program management within technology organizations.
• Hands-on experience in SRE, cloud operations, or related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of FedRAMP Moderate frameworks, security controls, compliance requirements, and governance.
• Experience managing complex technical programs with cloud platforms, security tooling, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs supporting security stack and controls for FedRAMP Moderate environments.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications across engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams.
• Drive compliance readiness efforts and support continuous monitoring aligned with FedRAMP Moderate requirements.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to ensure secure application deployment and operational excellence in regulated cloud environments.
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies to strengthen security, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.
