Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, focusing on FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF frameworks.

You will guide clients through interviews, evidence collection, and remediation planning while supporting secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation activities. The role demands a strong technical background and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities.
• US Citizen and able to obtain active SECRET clearance.
• Strong background in security engineering, secure architecture, and network security.
• Expert knowledge of Cloud, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series.
• Experience with Nessus/ACAS, DISA STIGs, NMAP, and Acunetix.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to perform interviews, lead assessment discussions, and provide expert guidance.
• Apply security engineering and secure-architecture practices across systems and networks.
• Analyze cybersecurity documentation and perform evidence collection to evaluate compliance.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using Nessus, ACAS, NMAP, and related tools.
• Identify and validate remediation actions and mitigation strategies.
• Lead compliance discussions and coordinate cross-functional teams.
