RIVA Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced senior enterprise/solution architect to lead federal architecture efforts for Census-related projects.

You will define the end-to-end architecture across business, application, data, security, and integration layers, ensuring FedRAMP compliance and strong security controls. The role requires deep experience with government systems, biometric standards, secure communications, and scalable, highly available designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 12+ years IT experience with at least 7 years as solution/enterprise architect on federal systems.
• Hands-on cloud architecture in FedRAMP environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov).
• Experience designing integrations with government systems of record using secure file transfer, APIs, VPNs.
• Experience specifying encryption in transit/rest (FIPS 140), PKI, and dedicated VPN tunnels.
• Knowledge of biometric standards (ANSI/NIST-ITL, FBI EBTS) and livescan device integration.
• Ability to obtain DOC background check and Census Special Sworn Status.

Responsabilités

• Analyze Census technical environment and deliver final operational/technical solution architecture.
• Design integrated architecture across business, application, data, technical and security layers.
• Define interfaces with CHEC, CAMPIN, and other government systems; validate XML fields.
• Prepare Interface Control Documents and Interconnection Security Agreements.
• Select FBI-certified fingerprint capture devices and compliant imaging equipment.
• Architect badge production platform with templates, connectivity, inventory and audits.
• Architect non-employee onboarding portal with secure forms, dashboards, workflows.
• Design for elastic scale, high availability, and COOP/DR environments.
• Evaluate automation/AI features with human oversight and auditability.
