Qualifications

• 3+ years in federal reporting or staff writing functions.
• Experience producing templated reports (WARs, MARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries).
• Background with one or more US military branches; diverse experience valued.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with focus on clarity, tone, and federal style guides.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for official reports and memos.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine authentic federal reporting artifacts (WARs, SITREPs, after-action summaries, executive briefings).
• Develop high-quality, clear written responses reflecting federal/military reporting standards.
• Evaluate and grade sample submissions using grading guidelines for clarity, accuracy, compliance, and conventions.
• Contribute input artifacts and golden references for status, activity, and compliance reports.
• Help create guidelines and rubrics for training AI models in federal report generation.
• Consult on task design using reporting experience to improve outputs.
• Participate in feedback cycles to ensure deliverables meet evolving standards.
