Job summary

Praescient Analytics is seeking a hands-on Federal Proposal Manager & Lead Writer to own compliant, compelling, and technically credible federal responses from bid decision through final submission. This role blends management with substantive writing and editing across proposals and sections.

You will collaborate with leadership, business development, capture, contracts, pricing, recruiting, and SMEs, coordinating multiple pursuits while maintaining high standards and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of hands-on federal proposal development experience, including writing substantive content.
• Current APMP certification at Foundation level or higher.
• Experience owning federal proposals from kickoff through submission, including compliance, scheduling, writing, reviews, production, and final quality control.
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition and source-selection practices and ability to interpret complex solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to materially improve weak SME content.
• Experience building compliance matrices and annotated outlines and tracing final content directly to solicitation requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, contributors, partners, and dependencies in a fully remote environment.
• Advanced, hands-on experience using AI tools for solicitation analysis, requirements extraction, compliance mapping, and editing with source grounding.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned federal RFPs and related documents from decision through submission.
• Analyze solicitations, evaluation criteria, and related sections.
• Develop compliance matrices, outlines, schedules, and templates.
• Lead proposal kickoffs, content recovery meetings, and final production reviews.
• Write and integrate content across technical, management, staffing, transition, quality, and executive-summary sections.
• Coordinate inputs from authors and teaming partners and drive corrective actions to closure.
