Job summary

OBAN Corporation in the Washington, DC area seeks a Federal Payroll/HR Consultant to support requirements and design workshops, translating federal payroll rules into practical designs. You will produce deliverables such as workflows, data mapping specs, and SIT/UAT scenarios under senior payroll leads.

Role emphasizes regulated, client-facing delivery with up to 10% travel and a remote-work option. SDVOSB status and mission-critical consulting contribute to a dynamic public/private sector

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of federal payroll experience with Title 5/Title 38 rules
• Experience with federal payroll systems and interfaces (WebTA, EPIC, P/P System interfaces) and reporting requirements
• Strong consulting skills and government contracting experience
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM configuration and Oracle Fast Formulas is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 10% and obtain/maintain government security checks

Responsibilities

• Support requirements and design workshops for payroll systems
• Translate federal payroll business rules into functional and technical designs
• Produce deliverables: workflows, fit/gap docs, configuration workbooks, data mapping specs, SIT/UAT test scenarios
• Operate under the direction of senior payroll leads
