Commence is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security assessments and authorizations for federal systems. You will own RMF processes, maintain key security artifacts, and coordinate with CIOs, engineers, and project managers across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in information assurance, including 3+ years as an ISSO for federal programs, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead for federal information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the designated ISSO for assigned federal systems and liaison to agency ISSOs and security teams.
• Lead and own the Security Assessment and Authorization lifecycle under RMF (SP 800-37).
• Author and maintain SSP, risk assessment, Privacy Impact Assessment, contingency plan, and incident response plan.
• Coordinate with CIO, Cybersecurity Engineers, Compliance Analysts, Project Managers and other departments.
• Support CMS ARS/IS2P2, VA/DoD assessments, and IRS Safeguards reviews; manage evidence collection and response.
• Complete system-level contract security deliverables and personnel security tasks; assist audits.
