Job summary

Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) seeks a policy-minded professional for a fully remote Government Relations role in the metro DC area. Track federal policy developments, translate complex policy into clear briefs, and advance RSNA’s advocacy priorities for radiology and patient care.

You will lead communications with RSNA leadership and members, support congressional relations, and coordinate workflows across a small, high-impact team. Occasional travel to Illinois may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant policy or government relations experience.
• Strong understanding of federal processes (Congress; HHS; FDA; NIH).
• Excellent research and analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor federal policy developments and translate them into summaries and briefs.
• Lead RSNA’s Washington Update and other key communications.
• Support engagement with lawmakers, agencies, and partners.
• Coordinate workflows, timelines, and meetings for the Government Relations team.
