Stafford Consulting is seeking a Journeyman Level Contracts Support Specialist – Remote. This full‑time role supports a federal contract currently pending award, with work performed anywhere in the U.S.

and occasional visits to VA offices for security processing and equipment pickup. Qualified candidates have a minimum of 4 years' federal contracting experience, a Bachelor's degree with business coursework, and proven pre‑award and post‑award capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of federal contracting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 semester hours in business-related coursework (e.g., accounting, business, finance, law, contracts).
• Documented experience in pre‑award and post‑award acquisition processes.
• Familiarity with FAR and VAAR regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, analyze, and advise on contracts for supplies and services, including complex and high-dollar acquisitions.
• Assist with contract awards and terminations, providing informed recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
• Analyze and evaluate cost and pricing data to determine price reasonableness.
• Prepare and maintain complete contract files and required electronic documentation.
• Research and interpret evolving regulations, policies, guidance, and laws to support contracting recommendations.
