micro1 is seeking experienced Federal Contract Specialists to contribute their acquisition expertise to a government-focused AI evaluation project. This remote, United States-based role is part-time and project-based, offering compensation of $60–$80 USD per hour.

You'll develop realistic procurement scenarios, create reference answers, and review work from others while ensuring adherence to FAR and the federal contracting lifecycle. This role emphasizes practical contracting judgment.

Qualifications

• Current or previous professional federal contracting experience (GS-1102 or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of FAR and the contracting lifecycle including pre- and post-award activities.
• Ability to apply contracting knowledge to realistic scenarios and explain decisions clearly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in the United States with reliable internet for remote participation.

Responsibilities

• Develop realistic federal contracting scenarios based on hands-on experience.
• Create detailed reference answers demonstrating sound contracting decisions.
• Review work from other experts, identify inaccuracies, and provide feedback.
• Ensure deliverables comply with FAR and federal contracting standards.
• Apply knowledge of pre-award and post-award procedures to assess project materials.
• Collaborate with project coordinators asynchronously to review deliverables.
