Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead a remote, cross-functional team delivering analytics products and dashboards for federal programs, including refugee, immigrant, and social service initiatives.

You will guide modern data platforms, support automation, promote predictive decision-making, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery across a distributed staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience interpreting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data in complex environments.
• 3+ years managing data, analytics, BI, product, or technical projects; Agile delivery preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data analytics projects, dashboards, data products, and reports.
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource plans, schedules, and risk logs.
• Advise clients on priorities, tradeoffs, resource needs, and timelines.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for data, analytics, and reporting.
• Lead requirements gathering and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and data products.
• Oversee design and deployment of Tableau/Power BI dashboards for self-service analytics.
• Guide data prep, integration, and automation using SQL, R, Python, and Databricks.
• Apply statistical methods and geospatial analysis to answer program questions.
• Validate models and metrics for accuracy and relevance.
• Foster innovation and modernize workflows; promote continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor a geographically distributed team of analysts and data scientists.
• Provide technical direction and staff development support.
