Job summary

Kaplan University Partners seeks part-time Fashion/Business mentors to support online precollege students. Mentors engage with students across the course, providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement at key moments, using Canvas inbox and other digital tools.

Mentors complete paid training (3 hours self-paced + live component) and collaborate with KUP staff as part of the mentor team to guide students on assignments and final projects.

Qualifications

• Applicants preferred to have education and/or experience in Fashion and/or Business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for mentoring students.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal direct supervision.
• Capable of using online collaboration tools for course support.
• Must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide async guidance, feedback and answer questions.
• Review course assignments and provide direction.
• Answer ad hoc questions throughout the course session.
• Brainstorm and ideate with students on final project ideas.
• Be familiar with all course material and report student engagement.
