Placements24 is seeking a Remote Automation Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated systems for clients worldwide. This fully remote role requires strong discipline, communication, and a track record of delivering automated solutions in virtual environments.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of automation experience, with hands-on PLC and robotics expertise, plus Python scripting for automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years in industrial automation with emphasis on system design and implementation.
• Expertise in PLC programming, robotics, and SCADA/HMI systems.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation tasks is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design automation solutions for manufacturing processes prioritizing efficiency and reliability.
• Select and integrate automation hardware and software (PLCs, SCADA, robots, AI tools).
• Create technical specifications, schematics, and project documentation.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support for automation systems.
• Analyze production data remotely to identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT via virtual channels.
• Stay updated on emerging automation tech and industry trends.
• Develop remote training materials and conduct client training sessions.
