Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Facilities Technical Specialist to oversee repairs, maintenance, and operations for our licensed pharmacies nationwide. You will proactively maximize uptime of clean rooms and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.

The role requires strong vendor management, project coordination, and mechanical expertise, especially in HVAC systems, with the ability to travel as needed across the US. A high school diploma and 5 years in facility management are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 5 years facility management experience.
• Experience managing vendors and overseeing performance.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards of services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Proficient with Windows-based programs and data entry skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reactive and proactive maintenance and repair visits from facilities vendors.
• Utilize CMMS system to track updates throughout work orders.
• Source new service providers for various trades as needed.
• Validate assessments from external vendors for reactive work orders, esp. mechanical visits.
• Collaborate with engineering to drive mechanical improvements and retrofits.
• Manage procurement of clean room fixtures, furniture and equipment.
• Review and approve facilities invoices.
• Serve as remote critical contact for pharmacy teams nationwide.
• Review preventative maintenance reports and act on items identified.
• Manage and review service contracts.
• Recommend modifications to maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design as appropriate.
• Participate in forecasting and overseeing clean room spend.
• Manage clean room remediation projects.
