Job summary

Vitaver & Associates, Inc. seeks a Facilities Engineer, Natural Gas for a remote, 12‑month project with some travel to Juno Beach, FL. The role requires 7+ years in natgas facilities engineering, metering and regulation station design, and SCADA/telemetry know‑how.

Start ASAP; remote work with site travel to JB and contractor offices. Ideal candidates have PE preferred, familiarity with PHMSA regulations and ASME B31.8, and will lead owner’s engineering tasks, design reviews, and commissioning

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in natural gas pipeline facilities engineering.
Experience with metering stations, regulator stations, valve assemblies, and pipeline interconnects.
Familiarity with SCADA, telemetry, and pipeline automation.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead for planning, design, engineering oversight, construction support, and operational integration of natural gas metering and regulating facilities.
Lead engineering support for hub development connecting multiple pipeline systems, evaluating pressures, flow balancing, and hydraulics.
Provide oversight for custody transfer metering, pressure regulating stations, gas filtration and separation systems, and overpressure protection.
Oversee design of mainline valve assemblies, automated block valves, emergency isolation systems, pig launcher/receiver facilities, and blowdown systems.
Review and approve multidisciplinary deliverables from third-party firms and EPC contractors; support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup; ensure PHMSA/ASME/API compliance.
