Job summary

Thinkgrid Labs is seeking a Fabric Platform Architect to design and manage the Microsoft Fabric platform for a US health insurer. This role requires 8-12 years of experience in data platforms, with a hands-on approach in Azure governance.

The candidate will develop capacity planning, management strategies, and lead critical healthcare projects in a flexible, fully remote working environment.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is essential for this impactful role that emphasizes security, compliance, and communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years overall experience; 3+ years in Azure data platform governance/Fabric admin.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric architecture and relevant analytics.
• Ability to design governance guardrails for security and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Fabric tenants, domains, and workspaces.
• Establish RBAC models, security groups, and budgeting guardrails.
• Implement glossary governance and end-to-end lineage across Fabric artefacts.

Skills

Microsoft Fabric administration (tenancy, domains, capacities, workspaces, OneLake)

Cost management and FinOps awareness (capacity planning, budgets, alerts)

Stakeholder communication
