  • Build and manage Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Semantic Models.
  • Develop data integration solutions using Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Fabric Shortcuts.
  • Design and manage connectivity and data ingestion from SaaS and enterprise data sources.
  • Optimize Fabric workloads and capacity utilization through effective architecture and development practices.
  • Develop and optimize PySpark notebooks, T-SQL, and DAX solutions.
  • Optimize semantic models using DirectLake for high‑performance analytics and reporting.
Administration & Governance
  • Administer and manage the Microsoft Fabric tenant, including tenant settings, configurations, and security controls.
  • Monitor and optimize Fabric Capacity (F‑SKUs) using the Capacity Metrics app.
  • Develop capacity scaling and workload optimization strategies to improve performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and manage RBAC, Row‑Level Security (RLS), and Object‑Level Security (OLS).
  • Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Microsoft Purview for data discovery, governance, lineage, classification, and compliance.
  • Define and enforce data labels and protection policies across Fabric.
  • Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, or data leakage.
  • Integrate Fabric with Azure Log Analytics for centralized logging, auditing, monitoring, and trend analysis.
  • Monitor throttling, smoothing, and capacity events and proactively address performance issues and resource contention.
  • Identify high‑consumption workloads and implement workload optimization, scheduling, or scaling strategies.
DevOps & Deployment
  • Establish and manage CI/CD processes for Microsoft Fabric solutions.
  • Implement Git integration and deployment pipelines across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Define development standards, deployment practices, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Support version control and automated deployment of Fabric artifacts.

  • Establish Power BI development, governance, and usage standards.
  • Support and guide business users in accessing and utilizing governed data through Power BI.
  • Conduct training and provide best practices for non‑technical Power BI users.
  • Promote data governance, security, and self‑service analytics across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 1–2+ years of hands‑on Microsoft Fabric experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Semantic Models.
  • Strong proficiency in PySpark, Spark Notebooks, T‑SQL, and DAX.
  • Hands‑on experience with Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Shortcuts, and DirectLake.
  • Experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric administration, governance, security, and capacity management.
  • Experience with Power BI administration, semantic modeling, governance, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, data lineage, classification, and governance.
  • Knowledge of RBAC, RLS, OLS, DLP, and data protection policies.
  • Experience with Azure Log Analytics, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
