Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a strategic communications leader to serve as Director, Executive Visibility and Reputation, supporting clinical leaders.

You will shape a comprehensive program to strengthen external presence, credibility, and influence across media and policy discussions. As a member of Corporate Communications, you will translate complex healthcare topics into compelling narratives, partner across the organization, and measure impact with analytics to guide ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field.
• 10+ years of communications experience with executive visibility or reputation management.
• Experience supporting C-suite executives and developing executive-level communications.
• Exceptional writing and content development skills.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships across matrixed organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a comprehensive executive visibility strategy aligned with Humana's clinical priorities and enterprise reputation goals.
• Develop and evolve the Chief Medical Officer's external narrative across media, industry forums, and stakeholder engagements.
• Identify opportunities to position clinical leaders as experts on healthcare quality and policy.
• Counsel and prepare executives for media interviews, conferences, and investor events.
• Lead creation of speeches, op-eds, talking points, and thought leadership content.
• Translate complex clinical, regulatory, and policy topics into clear communications.
• Monitor trends to identify visibility opportunities and reputation risks.
• Partner across departments to ensure alignment across channels.
• Measure impact with analytics and provide actionable recommendations.
