Job summary

Girls on the Run Memphis is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and drive program impact. The role partners with schools, families and volunteers to advance a bold mission and secure sustainable funding.

The ED will lead fundraising, program growth, and board collaboration while ensuring excellent governance, reporting and community engagement. This is a full-time, remote-capable position with local travel.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a nonprofit or head of a small organization.
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, grant writing, budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Passion for the Girls on the Run mission and readiness to promote inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership consistent with the organization’s Strategic Plan.
• Develop growth plans and diversify communities served.
• Oversee fundraising, sponsorships, and donor stewardship.
• Lead staff and volunteers, ensuring recruitment, onboarding and development.
• Manage financial reporting and organizational sustainability.
• Build community presence through events and partnerships.
