American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) seeks an Executive Director for the Coalition for the Life Sciences (CLS). You will lead advocacy, programs, and fundraising to advance CLS policy objectives under guidance from the Board and ASCB leadership.

The role is primarily remote with periodic in-person work at the ASCB headquarters in Rockville, MD, and some travel to engage with members and policymakers.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with federal policymakers and Congress.
• Strong fundraising and program oversight experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Advocate for CLS priorities with Congress, agencies, and staff.
• Oversee program development, events, and communications.
• Manage budgets, fundraising, and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead board engagement and reporting.
