Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Communications Manager (remote) to lead executive communications strategy and execution for a VP and leadership team.

You will translate complex technology into clear narratives and strengthen executive presence across internal and external audiences. Responsibilities include advising executives, crafting speeches and presentations, aligning messaging across PR, Marketing, Product, and Sales, and measuring impact with defined metrics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with executive communications.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or related field.
• Demonstrated success creating content that engages employees, customers, partners, and/or external stakeholders.
• Strong visual and written communication skills, with expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and related tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining high‑quality execution.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advising: Partner with executive and their team to develop communication strategies and roadmaps. Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities that align with business objectives. Support the management of high‑impact communications for time-sensitive situations.
• Narrative & Content Development: Craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Develop speeches, keynotes, presentations, articles, and multimedia content that establish thought leadership and reinforce organizational priorities.
• Executive Guidance: Work with executives to refine their presentation skills, communication style, and engagement approach with internal and external stakeholders.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with PR, Marketing, Product, Analyst Relations, Sales, and other functions to ensure messaging consistency and amplify organizational initiatives across channels.
• Strategy Execution: Design and implement communication vehicles (broadcasts, roundtables, social media, events, etc.). Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategies based on feedback and results.
