Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Executive Director, Clinical Platforms & Product Development to define and lead the end-to-end product strategy for clinical platforms. You will drive engineering, platform ownership, governance, and delivery across global teams, vendors, and sponsor programs.

This senior role champions a product-centric operating model, ensures regulatory alignment, and delivers scalable, compliant solutions that accelerate clinical trial execution and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, health IT, life sciences, or related field.
• 12+ years in clinical research, CRO, pharma, or regulated tech.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale product platforms and end-to-end delivery.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with digital health, AI/ML, and platform integration.
• Leadership across product, engineering, and operations.
• Experience with PMO governance and enterprise delivery.

Responsibilities
