Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Senior Director, Patient-Centered Endpoints, to provide strategic scientific leadership for multidisciplinary client engagements in evidence generation and study design. You will guide regulatory considerations, develop high-quality deliverables, and lead client meetings, while mentoring staff and driving business development across projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Health Outcomes Research, Public Health, Psychology, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GCP, PFDD, and patient-centered outcomes research methodologies.
• Experience supporting regulatory interactions, submissions, scientific communications, and engagements with health authorities.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience: 15+ years in social science/health care research (or PhD with 10+ years).

Responsibilities

• Lead science strategy for evidence generation and study design in collaboration with clients.
• Provide scientific leadership for design, conduct and interpretation of patient-centered research.
• Oversee development of study protocols, reports, and data collection tools.
• Direct all phases of study execution ensuring rigor, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative methodologies and dissemination of findings.
• Support regulatory interactions and engagements with health authorities.
• Lead development of publications, presentations, and external communications.
• Foster client relationships and lead strategic operational discussions to ensure delivery.
