Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to join our team in North Carolina. This 1099 role offers an industry-leading incentive package, an exclusive niche territory, cutting-edge technology, and a comprehensive multiline product portfolio to help educators meet their insurance and financial goals.

You will identify affordable solutions and build market access by developing relationships with educators, presenting products to groups and individuals, and actively networking at events.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance/financial services (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement affordable insurance solutions for educators.
• Develop market access and build strong client relationships.
