Job summary

International Crane Foundation seeks an Events Specialist to design and execute mission-driven events that boost public awareness, donor relationships, and philanthropic support.

Hybrid role with in-person and virtual events; salary range $52,000-$56,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer contributions, PTO, and health coverage. Baraboo HQ supports flexible remote work 2–3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Admin, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Two years of event planning or project management experience, preferably in nonprofit fundraising.
• Familiarity with event or CRM tools and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, planning, and execution of annual event strategy for ICF.
• Coordinate essential event logistics including vendors, contracts, budgets, timelines, staffing and on-site support.
• Recruit and manage volunteers and staff, coordinate branded displays and outreach materials.
• Manage Speaker's Bureau logistics and post-event data to improve ROI and participant experience.
