Job summary

WeTravel is seeking an Events Operations Lead to be the operational backbone of our global event program from Houston-based or remote locations. You will own the calendar, logistics, contracts, and invoicing, coordinating with AE/sales, design, and vendors to run events on time and on budget.

In this hands-on role, you’ll build systems, manage on-site teams, and drive post-event ROI insights. Expect travel a few times per year and a fast-paced, structured environment with supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on B2B field-event experience with run-of-show management.
• Comfort coordinating across sales, ops, content and vendors under deadlines.
• Ability to build calendars and systems; own admin (contracts, invoicing).

Responsibilities

• Own the yearly event calendar and adapt it as opportunities shift.
• Coordinate event execution end-to-end: vendor liaison, passes, registrations, shipping.
• Manage event contracts, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
• Set up and run dedicated event channels (Slack) with sales teams.
• Collaborate with data/ops on pre/post-event lead routing and ROI feedback.
• Help build and document the event playbook (SOP) for repeatable ops.
