Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking an Event Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end local event planning, vendor relations, and post-event analysis. You will coordinate with Marketing, manage registrations, and oversee budgets across multiple markets.

The role supports the firm's national client-focused strategy while enabling remote work and periodic travel. The role requires at least 3 years in event planning, proficiency with Cvent and Salesforce, and the ability to handle multiple projects with

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to direct operations for events in multiple markets from a remote position.
• Ability to make judgement calls in a fast-paced work environment.
• Deep knowledge of event planning and logistics.
• Proficiency with event registration technologies (Cvent, EventSpark, or similar).
• Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM system

Responsibilities

• Project intake, planning and logistics including timelines and briefs.
• Select venues, book locations and manage accommodations.
• Coordinate catering, AV, transportation and contracts with vendors.
• Oversee invitations, presentations and collateral with marketing.
• Manage event registration technology and track RSVPs.
• Monitor budgets and post-event ROI and spend reconciliation.
• Support special projects with local offices and content teams
