Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks an Evening Adult Virtual Visit Advanced Practice Clinician to join our telehealth team. You will evaluate patient concerns via virtual encounters, provide evidence-based care, and manage dispositions with a focus on quality and safety.

This fully remote role requires MA licensure as an NP or PA, DEA registration where applicable, and active BLS. Expect collaboration with care teams and after-hours scheduling to support patient access nationwide.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current DEA registration and controlled substance prescribing privileges, as applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patient concerns through virtual encounters.
• Assess symptoms and provide evidence-based clinical recommendations.
• Facilitate appropriate disposition including home care or ED referral.
• Provide medication management and prescription renewals within scope.
• Document all interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage.
