Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Adult Tele-Health Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join our Boston, MA team. You’ll evaluate patient concerns through telephone and virtual encounters and provide evidence-based recommendations with clear disposition plans.

Qualifications include MA licensure as an NP or PA, current DEA, BLS, and at least two years in primary or urgent care. Prior telehealth experience and Epic EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure as an NP or PA is required.
• Current DEA registration and controlled substance privileges as applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Strong communication, assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage patient concerns via telephone and virtual encounters.
• Provide clinical recommendations using evidence-based guidelines and determine disposition.
• Manage patient calls per department policies and review abnormal results.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
