Prompt is seeking a Benefits Verification and Auth Specialist to support after-hours verification for next-day appointments. This role ensures eligibility, authorizations, and clear handoffs to the daytime team, helping prevent denials and maintain a smooth revenue cycle.

Based in the United States with a hybrid/remote environment, the position offers evenings and overnight shifts, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in benefit verification or prior authorization, with strong knowledge of insurance policies.
• Familiarity with commercial and government payers and healthcare terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with patients, providers, and payers.
• Experience with payer authorization portals and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for next-day services.
• Determine patient responsibility for copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Identify required prior authorizations and document next steps.
• Provide clear handoffs to daytime BVA team for items not completed overnight.
• Collaborate with scheduling, billing, and AR to ensure accurate workflows.
