Job summary

Boomerang Healthcare in Walnut Creek, CA seeks a Manager of Eligibility & Benefits to lead the daily operations of the insurance verification, financial clearance, and point-of-service collection teams across clinical specialties. You will standardize electronic eligibility workflows, ensure accurate data entry, and drive revenue retention by ensuring patient co-pays and balances are collected on or before the date of service.

This is a remote role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle or related area.
• Experience with Medicare and commercial plans.
• Strong knowledge of deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise eligibility verification and insurance specialist teams.
• Ensure estimated patient financial responsibility is identified pre-service.
• Communicate expected copays and limits to patients.
• Establish escalation procedures for high-dollar cases.
• Oversee workflows across multiple specialties and payer portals.
