Job summary

Mood Visuals is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Animator to join our game project, crafting responsive character and gameplay animation for diverse creatures and moments.

You will work from concepts to polished in-game implementation, collaborating with art and development teams while meeting quality benchmarks and deadlines.

European freelancers are preferred due to timezone alignment; residency near Copenhagen or Malö is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of professional game animation experience.
• Shipped at least one AA/AAA title.
• Strong weight, timing, posing and physics in animation.
• Experience with humanoid characters and creatures is a plus.
• Proficiency with Maya or equivalent software and Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities

• Animate characters and gameplay moments from exploration to in‑game implementation.
• Collaborate with art and development teams to align with project direction.
• Deliver high‑quality animation that meets established benchmarks within deadlines.
• Work both collaboratively and independently in a production environment.
